Salesforce Launches Agentforce for Public Sector

Published:19 August 2025
Salesforce has just unveiled Agentforce for Public Sector, a suite of AI-powered agents designed to support government staff with tasks like recruitment, complaint handling, benefits applications, and compliance alerts.
According to Tech Republic, the package, available beginning Aug. 19, “brings AI agents to the forefront of Salesforce’s public sector push”.
Featured capabilities include:
In initial pilots—like the City of Kyle, Texas—these agents resolved 88% of non-emergency service requests in a single call, freeing staff to focus on complex tasks. The goal? Not to replace public servants, but to augment and accelerate their impact.
Salesforce describes the agent as having “purpose-built skills to solve everyday challenges, such as resource constraints, fragmented data, and the growing demand for personalised digital services”.
