​Connect is a disruptor business taking on established players in the highly competitive Delivery Service Provider payment market.

The Challenge​​

Each DSP has a slightly different set of up to 24 income and payroll deductions including van rentals that must be invoiced back to them by the drivers, who are self-employed contractors. ​

​The drivers themselves are drawn from a wide variety of nationalities with different employment backgrounds. Some are VAT registered and some have additional jobs that must be added to their overall income.​

The Solution​​

Driver onboarding is managed on the web via Salesforce Experience Cloud delivered on a mobile phone. This establishes the drivers right to work and eligibility for employment. ​

Aedon.Accounting receives weekly payment sheet summaries from each DSP. These are validated and then uploaded to create invoices, payments and VAT accruals as required.​​

The DSPs and individual drivers are able to check their own payments in a draft state before they are finalised and submitted for payment.​

Each payment run is secured with a series of carefully designed control checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of both the financial and payment data.
