Budget Layers
Aedon allows 7 Budget Layers.
Budget Layers can be used for all manner of purpose, but typically in one of two ways to set sales targets or to control costs. Each layer is separate so they can be used in all sorts of different ways according to the business need:
- Annual Budget
- Five Year Plan
- Revised Plans
- Forecasts
- Sales Targets
- Department Budgets
- Project Budgets
- Personal Budgets.
Budget Synonyms
The following are useful synonyms to help you make each layer more distinctive:
- Goal
- Plan
- Target
- Forecast
Bottom-Up Reporting
Budgets can be set against Companies, Products, Bank Accounts, and any of the Analysis Codes, so that they can compare Actual Performance with the Budget Layer for enhanced Bottom-Up Reporting.
