Creating New Financial Years

Financial Years lay the foundation for the accounting system to function. These should have already been set-up and you should only need to create these for future Periods.

To create a new financial year

1. From the Admin Menu, select Financial Years
2. Select the Relevant start and end dates for the future Financial Year
3. Click Save or click Save and New if you are creating multiple Financial Years.
